My eyes ache while looking at the mediocrity and the ways of main stream life, some days I can push away all the subliminal messages I get all around me, I’m not talking about the corporation, commercials and the media , I’m talking about my fellow people, who I share this world with. I’m talking about the “right” way to live . this is the best way we came up with to fulfil ourselves :settling down, bringing children, having a good job that pays well, raising the kids and dreaming of a different lives while we sleep. But I would like to say,
You did not change the world by bringing children, you didn’t complete your self or made the biggest art piece of your life, for the simple reasons that even cockroaches make children ( as bill hiks said).
accomplishing something great comes from taking a step back of society and looking at it with new eyes and a clear thought of what needs to be changed already and taking a part in the change.
Your ego work of Art that is made only for praising your self is also what’s bad in the world.
take a stand, try to do it anonymously , like no one will know you did it (yes it is possible). Do it because you had enough of something , because you are burning inside, and because you know what authentic is.
Some of my best friends are busy for the sake of being busy , even in the art’s. That is the lowest way to be productive and creative. That will not change your self or what’s wrong with the old old ways.invent the way to live.
The good thing of inventing is that you never saw someone else do it before.
add a new color, the one you have inside. It is scary to find it with all the noise inside and out, but it is needed, desperately , especially now.
your own sound, your own vibe, your own path.
