Dave Lombardo, מתופף להקת Slayer ואחד Progstage Productions Presents:ממתופפי המטאל הגדולים בעולם – מגיע לישראל להופעה משולבת ב Drum Clinic!

לאחר שתופף באלבומי קלאסים אחרים כגון South Of Heaven ו Season In The Abyss, הפך Lombardo למתופף המשפיע והחשוב ביותר בז’אנר המטאל הקיצוני, כשמתופפים אגדיים אחרים מציינים אותו כשהשפעה הגדולה ביותר עליהם, ביניהם Pete Sandoval מ Morbid Angel, George Kollias מ Nile ו Mike Portnoy יוצא Dream Theater.

במהלך השנים השתתף Lombardo במספר פרויקטים נוספים, ביניהם נגינה ב Fantomas, הרכב העל של Mike Patton מ Faith No More, נגינה באלבום The Gathering של ענקית ה Thrash האמריקאית Testament, נגינה באלבומיו של אמן הג’אז האגדי John Zorn, ונגינה עם הרכב הצ’ילו הפיני Apocalyptica.

- – -
Roni Alter, singer songwriter, known for her unique and sensitive voice.
Her first album “Air Pocket” was released in Israel in 2010.
During her career she has collaborated with some of the leading Israeli artists such as Arik Einstein and Dudu Tassa. Roni was also the singer and solo- ist of “Metropolin”, a group that had influenced the Israeli pop-rock scene and revolutionized its genera- tion.
She now lives in Paris working on her new english album.

Einav Jackson Cohen, also a singer songwriter and an exceptional pianist. Her first album “Tree Falls
In The Forest” was released in Israel at 2011. She worked with famous names in the Israeli music scene such as Shlomi Shaban and Korin Allal. Einav’s magic is probably due to the close relation- ship she has with her instrument: “The piano is an instrument of infinite possibilities, whenever I write a new song I reveal a different new world of options”.
The two Indie folk singers began their collaboration in 2008 while writing together a song for Roni’s first album. Since then, alongside their solo careers Roni & Einav join and perform together every so often in Israel.
In the passing year they performed together in vari- ous venues in France: Paris, Marseille, Bordeaux & Nice.
Now they are happy to add another wonderful mu- sician to their team: The singer songwriter Michal Geva who is also known as Blueberry Hill.

In 2010, she released her debut album, written and composed by her, with a refreshing pop-rock sound. The album included a collaboration with singer songwriter Ivri Lider (TYP). On February 2012, she participated in the first season of the Israeli version of container program ‘The Voice’ performing a mov- ing personal and unique interpretation cover of an Israeli well known song,

The Women’s Gathering has grown tremendously over the past year and a half. It has been organized and produced by a small group of dedicated volunteers (you know who you are) who have given their time and energy to help create queer women’s community here in Jerusalem. The time has come to expand our activities, and in order to do so, we are introducing two new unique events to the Jerusalem nightlife scene. The first of these events is “eVɘ”, a dance party promoting women DJ’s from both Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. “eVɘ” opened 13.4.13 with DJ Noam Weiner and DJ Michal Serr, and successfully packed the Bass Club. The second of these events is “Lilith”…

“Lilith ~ music art” is an evening of music, poetry, art and dance which promotes women’s creative expression in the Holy city of Jerusalem. The new line will offer concerts from the best musicians and performers that Israel has to offer. Following the concert, there will be a special Women’s Gathering Acoustic Edition which will provide a platform for women, women-identified and queer peoples to express themselves via the various artistic mediums with which they choose to create.

If you would like to showcase your creativity in our upcoming events please send us an email with an example of your work to: womensgatheringjlm@gmail.com

For our opening night, we are honored to host longtime Israeli singer-songwriter Ronit Rolland for a full concert. She will be performing with Shiri Burstein – Drums, Asaf Hachimi – Contrabass, along with special guest artist Din Aharony.
