הבית והארון הם השחקנים הראשיים בסרט“Home is You” . הם הסמלים של הסרט, אבל הם גם האובייקטים שלתוכם איה ויעל נכנסות ומהם הן יוצאות למסעות חדשים. הן מקימות בית משותף בישראל ויוצאות ממנו לבתים אחרים של בני משפחה וחברים בחו"ל. הן נכנסות לארון, כמו שיעל נכנסת לארון בבית הוריה בצרפת ועושה בו סדר, והן גם מקימות ארון ממשי ויוצאות ממנו בפסטיבל הברנינג מאן בנבדה. הסרט האישי כל-כך שהן יצרו פותח בשאלה מהי "יציאה מהארון", מציע הגדרה אלטרנטיבית וכך מאפשר לכולנו לחשוב מחדש על המשמעויות של הבית והארון עבורנו: לשאול שאלות אודותיהם ולאתגר את המרוּבעוּת והגבולות שלהם.

השם. השם של העבודה "אמא תעשי לי אבא" זה משפט שבתי אמרה לי לפני כשנתיים. דרך הפעולה שלי היא שקודם עובדים-עושים-מייצרים ורק אחר כך נותנים לזה שם, וכך באופן אינטואיטיבי הגיע המשפט הזה להיות הכותרת של התערוכה. אני עובדת כמעט בכל המדיומים לכן על הקירות תמצאו כמו כן רישומים ציורים ועבודות טקסטיל נוספות.

The work of a designer is to observe , to see things with a critical eye and search. To find the most fitting form for the function. The designer needs to match the needs of people to the times that they live in. How would Joseph Kosuth design this today? When I was young I always thought that that we are living in someone's dream and when that person would wake up we would all die. So I was always curious about the grey area between the imaginary and the reality and today we are going to talk about the future of the past. I know it sounds a bit strange but soon you"ll understand where the boundary between the reality and the imaginary is. So who am I? My representation? My Facebook profile? Or my Physical self? Let's think how people who died that we know would want us to remember them after their death.

Yesterday, we saw "Aya", a 40 min movie at the cinema, not in a festival, at the cinema! Who would have think it's possible? I guess where there is the will, there is the way! BRAVO! felicitations The filmmakers, Michal Brezis and Oded Ben-Nun and the producers, Yael Abecassis and Hillel Roseman, could have chose to extend the movie to be longer to get accepted in the right format, the conventional one. They chose to follow their heart and "Aya" came out, , a beautiful and tender movie. It is a movie about a delicate moment we hopefully all met in our life : this precious moments that you feel alive, that you lose control, that you follow your primitive envy in a dreamy way. This moments that you change your identity for few minutes to play, to be surprise, to let it go, to dare. I hope if you didn't yet experienced it you will dare one day, it worth it ;-))

WOW!!!! Yesterday I met Sarah, that told me she was working for "Israel loves Iran" and told me the all story, how it started and where it goes. I had tears in my eyes and I just wanted to share it. I can't wait to see the next step! As all of us I saw these images on facebook and was very moved by them. Even if images are strong and powerfull, What is always more moving and beyond everything is to know the story behind, to hear the story of the persons behind a project, behind the images. I believe a successful project always starts from a personal story based on love. Israel-Loves-Iran is one of those.
