H Mia και η Frida γνωρίζονται για πρώτη φορά στο πάρτυ αρραβώνων των γονιών τους. Ο πατέρας της Mia ετοιμάζεται να παντρευτεί την μητέρα της Frida, πράγμα που θα κάνει τις Mia και Frida ετεροθαλή αδερφές. Η Mia, έχει χρόνια να επισκεφτεί τον πατέρα της και στο πάρτυ έρχεται με τον σύντροφο της Tim, τον οποίο πρόκειται να παντρευτεί. Όσο γνωρίζονται καλύτερα οι Mia και Frida, έντονα συναισθήματα αρχίζουν και γεννιούνται μεταξύ τους. Η σχέση τους θα φέρει τα πάνω κάτω σε αυτές αλλά και στους συγγενείς τους με δραματικές εξελίξεις.

The Tel Aviv GLBT English-Speakers Group (ESG) will again be at “The Happening” which takes place on the morning of Tel Aviv Pride at Gan Meir.

It’s a fun place to be – a marketplace with stalls for every GLBT organisation you can think of. You’ll be able to find out about all the amazing work that goes on in the Israeli GLBT community.

We will be sharing the Aguda’s stall, so please come along and say hi. You’ll be able to sign up for our email list/Facebook group (if you’re not already on it) and we’ll be able to tell you about all the events that we have coming up and about the other Pride Marches taking place around the country during June and July.

Last year at “The Happening”, there were stalls for:
- the Aguda (the national GLBT organisation),
- Hoshen (who speak at schools about LGBT awareness/acceptance etc)
- IGY (Israeli Gay Youth),
- Six Colors (organisers of Pride Marches around Israel)
- Tehila (Israeli PFLAG – Parents and friends of LGBTs)
- Bet Dror (who provide shelter for at-risk LGBT youth)
- Yisrael Hofshit (Promoting separation of state and religion, and campaigners for civil marriage (including same-sex),
- the Israeli AIDS Taskforce
plus many more. So if you’re interested to find out more about what these organisations do, this is the perfect opportunity.

There’s also a fantastic stage show with music, speeches and drag queens and kings.

As Pride month is the biggest festival of the year (for which we all drink out protein shakes by the dozens), The Dreck arranged a line of events – starting on Wednesday night that has become a weekly tradition, through Friday’s pride parade and one unforgettable Pride Party at the Block on Friday night!

Wednesday || Dreck at the Dizzengof
Summer opening party in our official summer residence! After many amazing moments last summer (mostly those in the toilets), we are back to break the place down, and to hunt a nice Jewish tourist to make our mama proud!
DJ Hansome (‘House of Hopelezz’ Amsterdam) will come straight from the Netherlands and will meet our one and only resident DJ – Dalit Fucking Rechester, who will fill you up with the right sense of pride!

Friday || Pride parade + beach party
March with the best truck Bugrashov and Ben-Yehuda streets have ever seen! Though Osher still considers wearing his skinny little trousers with matching furry leggings, we promise you this is a truck you’ve never seen before!
Follow us to the beach party at the Gordon beach, and look out for DJ Dalit Rechester, who will play unbelievable Dreckish tunes on the main stage!
And if all that wasn’t enough, Osher returns to the stage after a long absence, in a show that will make you jaws drop! Followed by his hot dancers, we have a live musical act, one tight corset and a fierce dress that will make you gag for more!

Friday || Main pride Party at the Block
The party that has become the biggest event of the season returns to the Block, to yet another unforgettable event, packed with both tourists and locals, aka ‘loads of people to take home!’
This finishing note will include the best DJs in Israel: DJ Michal Sher with an opening set that will recreate her massive success in our last party, and DJ Dalit Rechester, our legendary resident DJ, who will smack you down with one fabulous set that would generate researches in universities around the globe!
DJ Ben Kairi and DJ Eyal Wand will keep you moving at the second floor, with one European electo-chic set that would make you take your shirts off and show everybody what you’ve been working out for!

The Women’s Gathering has grown so much over the last year and a half that in order to continue we have to expand! So, after hearing many requests from different people in our community and giving it some thought, we have decided to open two new event lines that will hopefully give expression to restless creativity, answer some unrequited longings and help fund all of our growing activities. The first of these events is “eVɘ”, a dance party for the queer community, debuting Saturday night, April 13th at the Bass Club in central Jerusalem.

“eVɘ” hopes to promote women, women-identified and queer DJs and offers amateur DJs a chance to develop their skills. Many of the main DJs are brought in from Tel Aviv while the warm up DJs are local, building bridges between the two cities. These parties are designed to provide an open, loving and celebratory queer atmosphere and to encourage women’s club music in the Holy city of Jerusalem. Straight friends of all genders and gay men are welcome as well.

Our debut event will feature Pure 90′s sets by:
